'The Hunt for HMAS Sydney' now available on DVD

The groundbreaking West Australian-produced documentary The Hunt for HMAS Sydney is now available to purchase on DVD.

Produced by WA production company Electric Pictures, The Hunt for HMAS Sydney tells the incredible story of a ship lost in the middle of nowhere and the dedicated search team who always had a strong belief they would find it. 

The wreckage of HMAS Sydney was discovered off the West Australian coast in March this year, with the documentary broadcast on ABC TV in prime-time just one month later.

The DVD's special features include extended interviews, a ceremony for HMAS Sydney crew, extended Remote Operating Vehicle (ROV) underwater footage of the wreck site, Lt John Perryman's battle story, and a booklet including HMAS Sydney schematic fold-out and archive material.

The DVD is available to buy through ABC Shops, Big W, Dymocks, JB Hi-Fi and Borders and is also available to purchase online through Ezy DVD.  Further information about the documentary is available from its website.
