2009 National Indigenous Remote Media Festival
Frank Rajavec of Snakewood Films recently attended the 11th National Remote Indigenous Media Festival & Media Awards held from October 5 to 9, 2009 in Darwin. The Festival is held annually and brings together remote community broadcasters from over 120 communities across Australia. It creates opportunities for new trainees from all regions to network and share their experience, skills and inspiration and receive encouragement and recognition of their achievements.
Frank attended the Festival through a grant from the ScreenWest travel assistance program. ScreenWest provides assistance as a contribution towards travel, accommodation and registration costs.
