Have your say about screen culture

04 July 2008

You are invited to have your say about screen culture in Western Australia at a special panel discussion hosted by ScreenWest and the Revelation Perth International Film Festival this Sunday July 6 at the Velvet Lounge, Mt Lawley.

What is ‘screen culture'? Is it important? Should Government fund it?  These are just some of the questions that will be discussed at the forum.

Join ABC TV's Executive Head Content Creation Courtney Gibson,  Film and Television Institute's CEO Graeme Sward,  Revelation Chairman Richard Sowada, Murdoch Uni Creative Technologies & Media Faculty Dean Jeremy Bean  and The West Australian Film Editor Mark Naglazas, as they fuel discussion on the role local screen culture plays in creative development and explore the business and audience participation opportunities that conferences, films festivals and other screen culture activities can provide.
