ScreenWest welcomes new Development Manager
ScreenWest would like to welcome Rikki Lea Bestall as the new Development Manager. Rikki Lea will be starting on Monday November 9, 2009.
As ScreenWest's newly appointed Development Manager, Rikki Lea will be responsible for managing and contributing to project development funding programs as well as its practitioner development programs.
Rikki Lea grew up in Perth and graduated from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She spent several years working in various capacities in Australian film and television including as a producer at Disney Channel Australia.
In 2005, Rikki Lea joined Producer Gary Foster on Ghost Rider as co-producer. In early 2006, she joined Foster and his producer partner Russ Krasnoff as director of feature development for their new production company. This collaboration has seen Rikki Lea involved as co-producer on The Soloist and most recently as producer on When in Rome which will be released next year.
