International success for “Tinglewood”
Western Australian film "Tinglewood" has won Best Horror Film in the Chicago REEL Shorts Film Festival. The win is the first international award for "Tinglewood" and caps off a very successful year of screenings including The Revelation Perth International Film Festival, the Melbourne Underground Film Festival; the Canterbury Short Film Festival in New Zealand; and the Screamfest LA Film Festival. National Indigenous Documentary Fund – deadline extended
Due to increased demand the deadline to apply for the National Indigenous Documentary Fund (NIDF) has been extended to Monday October 12, 2009. NIDF is an ongoing initiative that provides production opportunities for both emerging and practising Indigenous documentary filmmakers. NIDF 12 will comprise of two 55-minute documentaries, and is designed to bring to the screen Indigenous stories authored and crafted by Indigenous people. Read More
